Project Parking’s new dashboard allows customers at multi-site facilities to monitor the amount of data that’s being backed up or archived at each site using Marquis Broadcast’s software applications, including Workspace Tools and Project Parking. The dashboard provides important information across all sites as to the amount of data backed up using Workspace Backup, to ensure the systems are being used correctly. It can also be used to check the amount of storage that was analysed via Project Parking at each site, along with when it was archived. This visibility helps companies track usage of their data across all their locations, potentially saving hundreds of terabytes of required storage space.

The latest version of Project Parking also adds S3 AWS server-side encryption support, delivering seamless management for Avid ISIS or NEXIS storage. An ideal productivity tool for film production, post and broadcast, Project Parking helps companies understand the capacity of productions and allows them to easily export projects to tier two or cloud storage to make way for a larger incoming production on valuable ISIS or NEXIS storage space. Also added is the support for the retrieval of archives from Amazon Glacier deep archive storage, helping to reduce the costs of hybrid cloud post production.
