Marquis and TMD Announce Joint Development To Create New Integrated Asset Management and Editing Workflow
Marquis Broadcast, specialist in broadcast workflow studies and software solutions, and TransMedia Dynamics (TMD), a leading developer of software products and services to the global broadcast and media industry, have agreed a joint development to integrate Marquis' Medway system with TMD's Mediaflex media asset and workflow management systems. The project, due for completion later this year, will bring a new level of productivity to workflows using Mediaflex systems in a nonlinear editing and finishing environment. A version of the integration has been developed and will be unveiled at IBC.
At Inter BEE, Marquis Broadcast, specialist in broadcast workflow studies and software solutions, and Ikegami Tsushinki Co Ltd are unveiling a technology world 'first' by demonstrating an end-to-end HD workflow from capture to playout using systems from three different manufacturers. Enabled by Marquis' Medway media highway software, HD material is transferred seamlessly with no transcoding, base band or tape transfers, between Ikegami's FieldPaks to Avid editing systems and Omneon video server. Compositions in HD are also transferred from Avid editing systems to the Omneon server.
Marquis and SGL Demonstrate New Medway Bi-directional Avid-FCP File Transfer Facility Integrated with SGL's FlashNet Archive System
Marquis Broadcast, specialist in broadcast workflow studies and software solutions, has announced that its Medway media transfer and format conversion software will provide the media highway for a highly advanced workflow between SGL's FlashNet archive system and Apple Final Cut Pro (FCP) and Avid editing systems at NAB. Showcased on the SGL booth (SU8508), the workflow will feature Medway's new bi-directional Avid to FCP file transfer function which is being debuted at the show.
