Marquis Broadcast has announced it has signed JB&A as a channel partner acting as a value added distributor for North America. JB&A, which focuses on building and managing channels on behalf of vendors, will now sell Marquis’ solution Project Parking, aimed at assisting editors and facilities to manage their Avid edit storage more effectively, through its network of 1,600 resellers across the USA and Canada.
Quantel and Marquis Broadcast, specialist in content workflows and media integration software, announced today that the companies have entered into a strategic partnership agreement. The partnership will make it easier for Quantel customers to fully integrate workflows between Quantel systems and third party editing, server and archive platforms.
Quantel’s Enterprise sQ fast-turnaround production systems are at the heart of many media organizations’ news and sports production environments. Quantel’s recently launched sQ Fileflow application exposes a RESTful API, allowing it to be controlled by the Marquis Medway interoperability engine, enabling third party systems to freely exchange content with Enterprise sQ.
Medway is a sophisticated software tool kit delivering a seamless and cost-effective integration between leading broadcast content applications. Medway unifies multi-vendor systems by providing technical and operational workflows that optimize and integrate:

XenData the leading provider of digital video archive solutions to the media and entertainment industry and Marquis Broadcast today announced a collaborative solution to easily archive Avid Media Composer projects to LTO-5 cartridges.
Marquis Broadcast has been working with Object Matrix, manufacturer of MatrixStore, a disk based nearline and archive storage solution, designed to protect both video content and metadata in video workflows, to create a new solution to allow easy archiving and access to media assets.
Marquis Broadcast, specialist in broadcast workflow studies and software solutions, has added EVS Broadcast Equipment's EVS XT2 server to the list of products supported by its Medway media highway system. By supporting the EVS XT2 proprietary file export format, Medway brings new functionality to broadcasters by enabling them to read and write DNxHD media between systems based on the EVS XT architecture and Avid Technology's storage and Media Composer editing systems.
