SGL FlashNet fully integrated with Parking to Archive & Restore Avid Projects

Marquis Broadcast is continuing its strong relationship with SGL, global leaders in archive and storage management, by developing Project Parking, Marquis’ Avid storage management solution to enable Avid projects to be archived and restored easily via SGL’s popular content storage management system FlashNet. As a result, Marquis’ Parking, a complete Avid storage management solution, is now fully integrated with SGL FlashNet making archiving and subsequent access to stored media a straight-forward task.

Griffin Communications Selects Marquis & SGL Archive Offering For TV News Stations

SGL, a leading provider of content archive and storage management software for media and entertainment, has announced a contract win from Griffin Communications’, owner of TV stations KOTV News On 6 (Tulsa) and KWTV/News 9 (Oklahoma City). Griffin Communications has purchased Marquis Broadcast’s Parking archive and restore solution, which will be fully integrated with SGL’s existing FlashNet archive system. Griffin Communications reaches over 90 per cent of Oklahoma households via its two TV stations, state-wide radio network, online, and mobile information distribution service.

Marquis Broadcast has been working with Software Generation Limited (SGL), technology-leading provider of content archive and storage management solutions to the broadcast industry, to create a solution to allow easy archiving and access to media assets. Parking, Marquis’ archive and restore solution now integrates with FlashNet, SGL’s popular content storage management product to make archiving and subsequent access to stored media a straight-forward task.
